Lustigman to Present on Hot Topics In Promotions Law at ABA Intellectual Property Law Conference Andrew Lustigman will be presenting at the 23rd Annual American Bar Association Intellectual Property Law Conference on Landmines, Hot Topics and Red Flags in Promotions Law at the 23rd Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference on April 11, 2008, in Arlington, Virginia. The panel will cover recent legal updates throughout the U.S. in promotional marketing law, including contests, sweepstakes, coupons, rebates, and commercial co-venturing law, and addresses issues pertaining to creating successful and legal campaigns using new technologies and practices, such as text messaging, internet reverse-auctions, and pooled promotions.
Behavioral Advertising Roundtable Andrew Lustigman and Adam Solomon will lead a roundtable discussion on Behavioral Advertising. The program is being presented in cooperation with the ABA IP Law Section's Special Committee on Promotions and Marketing Law. The roundtable will focus on the general legal issues surrounding behavioral advertising and the tools and advanced technology designed to track consumer behavior. They also will examine the "proposed principles" for self-regulation recently introduced by the Federal Trade Commission, and will discuss enforcement polices of the FTC and state attorneys general. The article reviews the regulatory framework for dietary supplement advertising and provides analysis of specific types of claims commonly made in the advertising and marketing of dietary supplements.

Andrew Lustigman to Present on Clinical Substantation Evidence On October 17, 2007, Lustigman Firm member Andrew Lustigman will be co-presenting a workshop entitled "Workding With Experts To Prove Clinical Studies Claims."
