On October 22, 2008, Andrew Lustigman will speak at The Association of the Bar of the City of New York annual CLE "HOT TOPICS IN ADVERTISING & MARKETING-2008". This annual program gives a timely update on recent developments in the law governing advertising and marketing. This year's program will cover recent cases, legislative developments, and self-regulatory activity in the areas of general advertising practices, substantiating advertising claims, direct marketing, and intellectual property, as well as an update on federal, state, and local regulatory enforcement priorities. Andrew will cover recent developments in direct marketing, including supplier enforcement actions, the New York "Amazon" tax, and the pending Brodsky bill.
